CAM

Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) is the use of numerical control software applications that drive the computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools for tooling manufacturing. CAM helps us in producing high-quality products.

In other words, CAM includes the computer or numerical applications to develop a manufacturing plan for tooling design, CAD model preparation, numerical control programming, machine tool simulation, or post-processing.

The primary advantage of CAM includes a properly defined toolpath that helps to deliver expected results in production.

CAM systems also aid in automation of the production documentation by creating, verifying and optimizing Numerical control programs for optimum machining production. In NAK we use CAM process for production procedures that help us in delivering high quality products.
